Between November 30 and December 13, 2023, we participated in the Dubai Climate Summit (COP 28), following global discussions on climate change alongside international leaders, representatives of States and civil society. Represented by our Director of Partnerships, Tomás Mousinho, we were present thanks to the status of observer organization granted by the UNFCCC Council for this year’s Conference of the Parties.
During the event, we took the opportunity to articulate strategies with other actors from Brazilian civil society, promoting dialogues aimed at finding solutions to climate challenges. This articulation reinforces our commitment to building collaborative and effective approaches to address the environmental crisis.
Our participation in the Climate Summit reflects the importance of integrating local and global perspectives in tackling climate change. By engaging in high-level debates and strengthening cooperation networks, we contribute to expanding the influence of Brazilian civil society in international decisions that will define the future of the planet.
